This is a stretch of woodland, surrounded by a 6 foot high secure fence, where you can exercise your dog in a safe and stimulating environment that offers spectacular views over the East Lothian countryside and Traprain law.
The Dogwood gives you the opportunity to privately enjoy walking and engaging safely with your dog/s in a beautiful and stimulating woodland without having to worry about keeping your dog on the lead or avoiding stressful interactions with other dogs.
It covers an area of just over one hectare and is about 400m long and 30m wide. To the north, the Dogwood borders with Parkland that is home to our fold of highland cows and to the south you can enjoy views down the village of East Linton and up to Traprain law.
We have deliberately kept the woodland ‘wild’. This is the kind of terrain our dogs like the most. There are log piles to sniff in, bushes to run through, places to hide toys to find and plenty of interesting scents and sounds.
