Facilities

Features of the walk

At the start, there is a covered bench area where you can prepare for your walk.

There is a rough track through the woods that you can follow and also you are free to
explore the Dogwood away from the track.

This is an interesting sensory environment for your dog to explore and sniff throughout
the woodland, helping to promote a sense of calm and wellbeing for both of you.

There is a bench at the far end of the wood; it’s a perfect place to rest and enjoy the
view before heading back.

Once you reach the gate, you will find a bin to dispose of any dog poo and make use of
the covered area to dry your dog and get ready to go home.
The Dogwood covers an area of just over one hectare and is about 400m long and 30m wide.
